Our Projects and Vision

Our initiative focuses on transforming waste oil into soap and detergent, simultaneously creating income opportunities and safeguarding our rivers from pollution. Drawing inspiration from 73-year-old Valdivina, our goal is to extend this project to over 120 women by the year 2027. 

The Project 

EcoSoap transforms this waste into impact. Through community “Green Hubs,” ECOSUSTAIN trains women and youth to safely collect and recycle used cooking oil into eco-friendly detergent. This simple circular-economy process:

Reduces water pollution and landfill waste
Creates new income sources for local families
Promotes environmental education and circular habits
Each 100 litres of recycled oil provides detergent for 50 households, turning a pollutant into a product of dignity and sustainability.

Potential Impact:

100,000 litres of oil recycled per year by 2030
1,000 women and youth trained and working by 2030
100 million litres of water preserved annually


The EcoSoap Project

 Reimagining rural housing through natural, low-carbon building.

Brazil faces a housing deficit of 5.8 million homes. Traditional materials like cement and steel raise both costs and carbon emissions, leaving rural families with few sustainable options.

EcoHouse introduces bio-based and circular construction methods that use local soils, recycled materials, and solar integration, such as pictured bellow, built buy our friend Lucas, from Ser Cósmico. The result? Affordable homes, 60% cheaper than tradional methods, that are cooler, stronger, and emit up to 40% less CO₂.

Each project trains local builders in with different natural technologies, empowering them to replicate and sustain the model independently, building climate resilience and community skills.

Impact goals:

Learn more about our founder's vision

The Brazilian Cerrado—one of the world’s most biodiverse savannas—has lost over half of its native vegetation. Expanding agriculture, wildfires, and land degradation have pushed ecosystems to the brink, threatening water security, biodiversity, and rural livelihoods.

Our Reforestation Initiative, including our partnership with the friends at Gameleira, introduces nature-based, community-driven restoration methods that use native species, regenerative land practices, and circular resource management. The results include restored landscapes that regenerate soil, protect watersheds, and rebuild biodiversity—while strengthening local economies and climate resilience.

Each project trains local workers and land stewards in restoration techniques, empowering communities to replicate and maintain the model independently, ensuring long-term ecological and social impact.

Reforestation Projects

Brazil’s Cerrado biome, rich in biodiversity, faces deforestation. Indigenous guardians, especially Xavante youth, often lack digital tools for environmental observation. EcoLink Cerrado provides a solution. With Starlink satellite internet and solar-powered cameras, Indigenous youth capture real-time footage of species like the onça-pintada (jaguar), arara-azul (macaw), and lobo-guará (maned wolf). 

This footage streams to an online Conservation Dashboard, turning data into stories and linking global donors to local efforts. 

It’s a blend of science and culture — a digital connection between the Cerrado and the world.

Goals:
- Train 10 Indigenous youth conservation teams
- Operate 5 biodiversity livestream sites by 2027
- Boost awareness and donor support for Cerrado protection

This project is in its conception and development stage. We are currently seeking specialists and partners to help us get it off the ground.

EcoLink Cerrado - Digital Transformation Project

Through our implementation parner the Instituto Solar de Fralães, we were kindly offered a building to host the future Ecosustain Centre — a space we envision as a vibrant hub for sustainability, creativity, and community development. Our dream is to transform this place into:

a workshop centre for sustainable and circular-economy training,

a community space for learning, gatherings, and support,

a small social enterprise shop where students can sell EcoSoap, EcoDetergent, and local artesanato such as capim dourado jewellery,

and a welcoming venue for cultural and educational events that strengthen our community ties.

However, whilst we are humbled and beyond appreciative, the building requires significant renovation before it can safely and effectively serve these purposes. With the right partners, we aim not only to fund the restoration but also to train local builders in natural bioconstruction techniques during the process — turning the renovation itself into a live demonstration of the sustainable technologies we champion.

This is one of our most ambitious project, however we can only move forward if we have the right partners to help us fund it.
