Where it all began
Although Ecosustain Foundation is newly registered in the United Kingdom, and its corresponding institute in Brazil is currently being formalized, the work behind Ecosustain has been taking place for over 20 years — in the life, values, and journey of our founder, João Corrêa Neves Junior, his wife Patricia Aue Corrêa Neves, their families, and the many friendships built along the way. "I was born in a small rural town in the countryside of Goiás, Brazil — a place where community, land, and resilience shape everyday life. From a young age, I became involved in social causes, from youth participation, to democracy participation, environmental care, animal welfare, and local sustainability initiatives". Over the past two decades, João and Patricia have dedicated countless hours to volunteer work, community support, and grassroots action.
